DIRECTOR OF OPERATIONS

Our Director of Operations at Mendocino Farms would provide visionary leadership, strategic planning, and operational oversight, possessing strong analytical skills, effective communication, and a deep understanding of the restaurant industry to drive organizational growth, optimize efficiency, and maintain brand integrity across all locations.​

MANAGING PARTNER

Our “Managing Partners” at Mendocino Farms lead and mentor the team, guiding them through all facets of restaurant operations. They foster a positive and inclusive work environment by demonstrating strong leadership skills, business acumen, and a dedication to maintaining the company's brand standards. Through their mentorship, they empower the team to achieve success collectively, ensuring exceptional guest experiences are consistently delivered.

GENERAL MANAGER

Our "General Managers" at Mendocino Farms lead by example with exceptional leadership skills, strategic vision, operational excellence, and a passion for hospitality. They oversee all aspects of restaurant management to drive profitability, foster a positive work culture, and deliver outstanding guest experiences.

SENIOR MANAGER

Our "Senior Managers" at Mendocino Farms spearhead strategic initiatives and exhibit exceptional organizational skills, effective problem-solving abilities, and adept leadership to ensure operational efficiency, team cohesion, and the delivery of outstanding guest satisfaction within the restaurant.

MANAGER

Our “Managers” are humble coaches who are organized, deadline-driven, and ready to master every position in the restaurant. They build lasting relationships with our guests and Team Members, spreading our Eat Happy ethos with care.

MENDO TRAINER

A trainer at Mendo is a champion and ambassador of the Mendo culture, partnering with the leadership team to continuously move the store forward.  A certified trainer is usually a go-to person because they know so much about Mendo and have such strong communication with everyone in the store.  They love mentoring new team members and teaching our standards at 100%.  They also help the management team identify areas where the store can improve and brainstorm ways how to do that effectively.  Our goal is two trainers per hospitality team. 
 

CATERING SPECIALIST

Mendo’s exceptional catering program is often the first time guests are exposed to our exciting menu, hospitality and quality-focused team, unique packaging, and adventurous menu.  Our Catering Specialists know our catering menu inside and out, helping guests order the right amount of food, and the myriad of details that drive up to 20% of our sales!  Catering at Mendo is almost a business within a business and the whole team pitches in to deliver guests an industry-leading experience.  We look to our Catering Specialists to lead the charge.

KITCHEN SPECIALIST

Our goal is three Kitchen Specialists in each Mendo.  These exceptional, quality-focused Production Team members have not only mastered all the kitchen stations, they demonstrate great relationships, communication, and coaching with all Production TMs, clear communication with Managers and the Hospitality team, and drive excellence in receiving, quality standards, procedures, protocols, and cleanliness, not to mention best-in-class dine in, take out, and catering execution.

CERTIFIED TEAM MEMBER

Certified Team Members—Hospitality
Not only does certifying in all five hospitality positions keep team members fully engaged, these TMs  deliver exceptional guest experiences because of their expertise, and also provide managers with the flexibility to use them in any position.  With developed restaurant eyes and the ability to truly make an impact with guests, becoming a Certified Team Member is a big win and satisfying on many levels, not to mention the incremental pay raise.
 
Certified Team Members—Production
This is the third rung on the Career Climber for our Production Team and TMs in this role mean they are fully certified and expert in all six primary areas on the production line, which keeps their shifts exciting for them and almost ensures our guests receive food that truly delivers on our exciting chef-driven menu. TMs in this role are also eligible to participate in New Store Openings and possibly elevate into the Kitchen Specialist role.
